The project involved the preservation and renovation of the 1924 Ortmeyer Thompson Co. furniture warehouse in the Tampa, Florida, Channel District. The building was converted into law offices on the second floor and leasable tenant space on the first floor in 2004. The renovation included the addition of stairways, elevator, handicapped accessible ramps and a new entrance canopy. The existing brick walls were cleaned, repointed and sealed, while new windows and roof were installed. The approximately 21,100 square foot building cost $1,500,000 to renovate.
