Completed in 2006, this waterfront home is located in Clearwater, Florida, contains over 4600 sf. and was designed to maximize the home’s square footage while maintaining the exterior appearance of a Florida beach cottage.
While maximizing views of the water both to the north and to the west while adhering to strict FEMA regulations at the ground level, this three story Florida Vernacular Residence provides the energetic clients with plenty of entertainment space. Additionally, the orientation of the home on the site, coupled an abundance of porch area provide the clients with a calming and soothing environment for relaxation while taking in the beauty of Florida’s west coast.
The home is quickly navigated via central corridors a central stair way, and an elevator which facilitates the moving of large items between floors. There is a three car garage at the ground floor. The main indoor entertaining area is open to the kitchen and adjacent bar area and flows into the large rear covered porch and water beyond through a series of glass doors and windows which enhance the indoor-outdoor connection, with an additional porch serving the top floor master suite.
